FAQ
What changed most recently in Arizona DPA?
As of June 10, 2026, the Home in Five Advantage maximum household income increased to $157,360 in Maricopa County.
Can I combine two Arizona DPA programs?
No. Arizona down payment assistance programs do not stack with each other. You choose one. Your chosen DPA layers with your first mortgage (FHA, VA, USDA, or conventional), not with a second DPA program.
Do Arizona DPA programs work with a VA loan?
Yes. VA is an eligible first-mortgage type for both Home Plus and Home in Five. Home Plus's 1% Active Duty/Veteran bonus has been discontinued. Home in Five’s 1% qualified-professional tier and 0.5% BOOST were discontinued in October 2024, so it now provides up to 6%.
